"Only marked down on condition due to the property closing mid jan 2023 for 9 month refurb. Definitely looked tired and in need of upgrade. But this didn't detract from our enjoyable stay in clean comfortable freindly hotel in perfect location"

"Liked the location it was quite, 10 min walk to the Marina that had really nice restaurants and bars,15-20 drive to airport and 15 mins by taxi to the nearest town/strip. Did not like that the pools weren't heated so could not use them, during our stay it was slightly windy therefore felt cold siting by the pools. Did not like that you had to pay to use the spa facilities to be honest it was not worth it. "

"I really liked this place, despite some eccentricities. Estrella del Norte is run by a few generations of a Canarian family, and feels like a family-run establishment. The building is somewhat dated, but boasts fantastic views both ways, of the sea and nearby Teide volcano. They keep it spotlessly clean, and are very welcoming. "Interesting complex of a hotel spread out over a large area with many separate buildings which gave a uniqueness but orientationof getting around was not straightforward, Very hilly. Great grounds and very relaxing good service but could have been more attentive around the pool area."
