The staff were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s conveniently located just 5 minutes from the beach and about 1.5 hours from San José airport. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again in the future.”

“My family stayed at Alma Del Pacífico for four nights during the “rainy season” after driving from our stay in La Fortuna. We didn’t mind the late day rain at all. We were able to get all the daily activities in before it started. The beach is as everyone has described, flat and walkable. We were able to swim with the waves, even our seven year old. Perfect for surfing, and our oldest took the opportunity with Brett’s Boards. There are more sand dollars than we have ever seen! Breakfast options...

“We had a second room floor on the end with a beautiful view of beach. Great to listen to rush of beach water all times. Meals here are wonderful. If coming be sure to get room not on end as the wifi is not always good--closer to center of hotel area I hear much better. We had a sloth and baby in nearby tree. We'll be coming back here.”

“Stunning location and clean property directly on the beach with nice extras in the pool and gaming area. Property is out of date and is about 20 min down a dirt road with very poor WiFi and nothing else around. If you’re looking for a resort this isn’t it, but if you are looking for a clean place where you’ll have the beautiful beach to yourself, it’s a good choice.”

“Wow! Une villa entière pour le même prix ou presque qu'une petit chambre. Quel belle surprise pour nous de découvrir cette endroit, bien localisé, rapport qualité prix exceptionnel, sécuritaire et avec piscine privé pour nous. Une endroit formidable pour le famille ou petit groupe ou même deux personnes. Proche de tout les essentielles. Villa construite en 2023 et ca parait. Je recommande fortement. Merci Gilberto pour l'accueil! ”

“Might be OK for naive surfer dudes but the beds are worn out, mosquitoes in the room get in through windows that don't seal, street noise, barking dogs and roosters. Just overpriced for what you get.”
