“The staff here is absolutely fantastic! Even though our trip started a bit bumpy, they totally turned it around and made us feel so welcome and at home. Their hospitality was beyond amazing, and they were super accommodating to everything we needed. We're definitely coming back when we're in the La Fortuna area! “Schönes Zelt mitten im Regenwald. Die Anfahrt war allerdings etwas anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir auch beide Tage dort geblieben und haben vor Ort Wanderungen gemacht oder waren am Pool. Der ist klein, aber sehr hübsch angelegt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wifi nur im Hauptgebäude. ”

“The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. “If you were only staying for one or two nights in Chachagua, then this motel might suit you fine, please be highly aware of their nonrefundable policy. I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica.
