“My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.”

“Very clean with an eco-friendly vibe, perfect for a week-long stay. The view was great, and the pool was a nice bonus. The laundry room was exceptionally clean and easy to use once we downloaded the app. One thing to note: the driveway into the parking garage is very steep and can feel a bit treacherous (a delivery truck actually got stuck while we were there), but there is also street parking available.
