My husband, son (1 year), and I stayed here in November. The studio had a wonderful bathroom with a towel warmer! Believe me, you will want it. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. The hotel provides FREE milk, juice, and cereal for your stay. Oh, and tons of free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for FREE! The staff was very friendly. We also hired a sitter through them for an adult visit to the Blue Lagoon. The sitter showed up 30 minutes early to meet our son and review things. She was...

My wife and I just finished up a November vacation in Iceland. We plan to do another vacation to Iceland again in summertime so we can drive the Ring Road route. When we come back, we're already looking forward to staying at this hotel again -- the staff mostly consists of the owners, and they take pride in seeing that their services and quality are of a high standard, while yet at very reasonable prices. Everyone is most attentive, the rooms are very clean and have a quirky decorative charm,...

Clean, cozy, beautiful, well located hotel! Above all, the hotel staff was super kind and helpful. They helped us immediately when we had issues finding the bus back to the airport, and solved our problem and our stress of missing our flight. For us that was service above expectations and we are so greatful. I will always recommend staying here!! Thank you!

We arrived early in the morning after traveling for roughly 24 hours. We were spent. The young man at the front desk on 3/20 did his best to get us a room quickly. We made ourselves at home on the comfy leather couches and took a snooze then we walked about downtown which was only a couple of blocks away. The young man helped us with restaurant reservations at Seafood Grill which turned out to be the best meal we had all week. We got help all week long with suggestions and reservations. I don't...

We had 2 stays at Rey Apartments. The first time we had room 105. Perfect. Ask for this room again. We flew to Greenland and then returned to Rey for our second stay. Rey is in a perfect location near restaurants, bus stops, shops and more. Great staff. Johanna, Alejandro and Marco were all wonderful and helpful. They are there during the day and just a push of a button at night. The kitchen is a must in Iceland as it is expensive to eat all meals out. Rey has it all. I would not stay...

Love hotel halfway between the airport and downtown. The room itself was super comfy (with a lovely bathtub!) and the concierge was very helpful. The breakfast was your typical nice hotel breakfast (eggs, bacon, cold cuts, etc), plus a sampling of exotic meats (e.g. smoked whale). It’s about a half hour walk to downtown if you take the shopping street (just down the road and up to the nearest light and to the right), or maybe 40 min if you take the shore and sculpture walk (which has gorgeous...

Everything was perfection!! The hotel. The restaurant. Service. Room. I couldn't have been happier. This is my 6th time staying there and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Reykjavik.

Amazing location, super friendly staff, can't wait to stay again!

Bar and restaurant were great

Outstanding service thru and thru

Great property and friendly staff. Close to everything.

This is an excellent option if you want to be within walking distance to many sites. It is also close to Bus Stop #1 where you can get on a bus to many destinations.

The staff was friendly and welcoming in both the hotel and restaurant. The included breakfast had a very tasty and wide selection of options, which was great way to fuel up before our outdoor adventures

Easy check in. Less than a block from a bus station and multiple restaurants and grocery stores.

we landed very early and the staff was very nice and let us check in several hours before typical check in time. The room was large and had great blackout curtains. very walkable area.

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for the last few days of our trip.

Great location. Very comfortable. (Suggestion) Wish there was a broom in the apartment to sweep the floor after cooking and eating. Kids do spill crumbs on the floor. Getting down on knees to use the whisk broom was not fun after all the meals. And leaving it on the floor was not an option for me. There was no interaction with any staff. Did receive emails. Had a great time. Will return!

I LOVED IT HERE! I am a single woman who travels alone, and my safety drives my decisions when I travel. Initially I regretted staying away from the city center, but after I figured out the logical bus system, I was grateful for being in a quiet area. My room was austere and clean. The kitchen was adequate. One thing I encourage the owners to invest in: a dresser or a shelf for guests to put their clothes. Four hangers is inadequate. Also, at least one table by the bed would be good for...
