“A nice location, equipment worked, great spa bath, fairly quiet. I probably wouldnt book the 2nd floor again in summer as theres no lift.”

“Historic hotel, reminiscent of Fawlty Towers, complete with winding corridors and creaking floorboards. Has retained a lot of its historic character. Our spa room was comfortable with a veranda facing the ocean. Very good, quirky bistro.”

“Good parking. Nice restaurant / takeway on-site. Small room with table & 2 chairs, nice bathroom, cutlery and plates but no cooking facilities only microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, no freezer. No sink or anywhere to wash dishes and cups, but a tea towel available. Room needed airing on arrival. Needs new curtains. Handy to supermarket, gas. Only 7 min drive to Port Elliot or Granite Island causeway.”

“This is the second time staying and it was rather disappointing. Two of the water slides were not in use, which reception did not inform me about at check in. Instead of removing what looked like the leg of a broken fibre glass model of what I assume was an emus leg by the mini golf course it was left there which wad dangerous and not a good look. We were disturbed by maintenance while there wishing to install fly screen at windows, in addition the cabin we stayed at the previous year was still...

“Great location, fab to sit outside and look at the sea. Everything was great .. however new bathroom down stair, is not very functional, has no shower screen and shower water goes everywhere including on the toilet. Owners had just renovated this bathroom, so there maybe some adjustments to be made.. apart from that very lovely:)”

“The apartment is in a great location, close to a range of cafes and restaurants, and a short walk from the causeway to Granite Island. It was nicely fitted out with lovely towels, toiletries and breakfast supplies. However, the location within the complex was not easy to find, and up a set of concrete stairs which we found difficult to negotiate, especially whilst carrying items. Those with mobility issues may want to think twice. The access door also requires two hands to open with the key. The...

“Beautiful location, lovely apartment..we had a wonderful weekend away. There needs to be some cleaning done however, the blinds in the bedroom and living room were filthy and some more seating in the loungeroom would be good too. We loved it though and will definately stay here again.”
