"Positives: The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were immaculate.
The shower was a great temperature, albeit on the small size.
The view of the bay from my balcony was unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never woken to a better view.
The staff were friendly and my luggage was carried to my room. The check in and check out was fuss-free.
I believe there is parking available, though I used the long-stay carpark, just opposite.
Negatives: the rooms are VERY dated and in need of a LOT of TLC. If you can look beyond this, the hotel is a fantastic place to stay for a reasonable rate. Especially for St Ives.
It would be good to see the place brought back to life with a lick of paint."
