“Staff were very welcoming and helpful! Room was basic, but adequate for a one night stay and A/C worked great. Many restaurants and shops in close proximity to the property. Was a nice touch to see towel swans on our bed upon arrival!”

“For international travelers expecting a normal hotel room, I would carefully review details about this hotel. If you're accustom to staying in hotels that cater to local citizens, you might be happy here. They seem to cater to families with kids who want to hang around the pools. ”

“Location is not OK on Waze, first write to then to give you exactly location, name is wrong, is not Hotel is Gorgona Beach House. Pool was dirty, not plenty parking lots, there is a stair very badly designed, do not hold the stairs sideways, there is no kitchenette as it says, there is no table, neither chairs, and you need to call or chat everytime to open the gate that is closed for safety resons.”

“We stay at a clean room equipped with basic but usefull kitchenette. The owner prepared daily breakfast charged with flavors and plenty of love. Have to say that we were treated like family. I suggest to try the home-made banana & nuts muffins, they're delicious. ”

“Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car.
