“Knoll House has a lot going for it - the location is fantastic, the facilities are good and there’s loads of space. It could be great, but our experience was of a hotel that is unloved and needs someone to take real pride in it to help it reach its potential. On arrival, the welcome was very brief. “I can't fault the Hotel except for the large number of stairs to climb. we were on the second floor At 68 I had not anticipated the climb everytime I went back to the room. I must add the Breakfast was good but yet down more stairs This must not be taken as a bad review but I would urge others to take this comment into consideration”

Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and it was a perfect location to explore the Jurassic Coast and it's historical gems. Will definitely go back.”

“Lovely friendly staff. Great location with either beach or harbour side rooms. Excellent location for the pavilion. Breakfast is excellent, good quality ingredients and well cooked.”

“Everything perfect. Nikki and Eddie were lovely and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable with fans which were welcome with the warm weather. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and it was lovely. Just across from the beach, couldn't ask for better and we would definitely stay there again.”
