“Absolutely loved our visit! The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and you can really tell how much care goes into the whole experience. We had a brilliant time and couldn’t fault a thing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we’ll definitely be back again soon! ❤️”

“The building could be made beautiful but is in need of a refurbishment. It is quite tired and in a poor state in most places. I had poached, scrambled and fried eggs on the three days we were there and not one of them were cooked properly. The carpets definitely need cleaning or replacing, in fact the whole place needs freshening up. However, there were two weddings, a party and a funeral wake whilst we were there and the hotel itself was busy. Plenty of parking. The staff were very helpful...

“Disappointed that the additional cost for the spa and gym facilities was so well hidden on the website that i had to pay an additional £14 per person to use them whilst we were there. The hot tub isn't surrounded with marble, like the photos suggest. when asking how to use the steam room, as was informed..... it's dodgy so you'll need to use the sauna instead. one is better for breathing (steam room), and the sauna is better for sweating out. “There was plenty of electricity points to charge mobility scooters. No tv lounge, or bar due to that area used by the owner. The licenced bar area, full of cleaning products, and items for the owner’s dogs. There was no seating in the room, so had to sit on the bed, to relax on an evening. The breakfast was an under par. The sausages was burnt on one side, and the mushrooms was undercooked on one side and burnt on the other side. The fried bread, which as dripping with grease. Not recommended...

“Stayed here for one night on my way down from Edinburgh to London. The hotel is pet friendly. There is £15 charge, not sure if it’s per night or once time charge. The view from the bar is nice. HOWEVER, the lower level rooms (twin rooms) smells terrible. It smells damp. I had to ask to be moved to another room. Even the “upgrade” standard double room smelled damp.
