“I,ve stayed here a handful of times before . I started my trek from Houston to Santa Fe at noon and by nine or ten it was time for me to pull in for the night . The owner has made big improvements to the outdoor area ,but it wasn’t all that appealing in mid-November with winter approaching . What was nice was the warm greeting I received when I arrived and the absolute lack of activity on Main Street that evening and into the morning which allowed me to get a good night’s rest . ”

“The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is always good. The know I stay there when I woke nights so they always let me stay a little later in my last night shift to get some sleep before traveling so that is always nice. ”
