Expect a slight slope in the floor, and don't forget to close the windows before you go to bed as the monkeys are sneaky and will steal any fruit that you leave on the dining table. A fun night. Das fenster im Bad liess sich nicht schließen, dadurch besteht die Gefahr dass Mosquitos ungehindert eindringen und das in den Tropen. Im Flur liegen tote Insekten, Kakerlaken. “위치가 생각 이상으로 외진 곳에 있습니다. 꼬불꼬불한 산길을 한참 가야해요. 픽업서비스가 30달러였나 그랬는데, 아까워서 요청 안하고 툭툭탔다가 죽는줄 알았습니다. 픽업서비스 받는걸 추천합니다. 직원들이 옛날 식민지시절 옷 같은 제복을 입고 있고, 친절합니다. 다만, 서양인에 비해 동양인을 다소 소홀히 대하는 느낌을 받았습니다. 가실 분들은 복장에 조금 신경쓰시기 바랍니다. 기분이 상해서 체크인 후 옷을 갖춰입고 다녔더니 훨씬 잘해주더군요. 주변경치는 정말정말 아름답습니다. 욕실도 통유리 비슷하게 되어있어서 차밭이 모두 보이구요. 며칠 더 머물고 싶을만큼 좋았습니다. 주변에 아무것도 없기 때문에 호텔 안에서 모든것을 해결해야 하는데, dining on wheels가 엄청 비싸긴 하지만 한번정도는 경험해볼만 합니다.”

“We arrived around 6.30pm during a crazy storm, the down pour was full on. The signs could be clearer, our driver struggled to get up the steep hill so we walked with our bags. Staff were great, had dinner in the room and cocktails, tasted great. Room was nice with great views. We would happily stay here again. ”

“Hi this is a slightly more expensive for the area but for us it was worth it. There was a hidden surprise for us as they have an infinity pool on the roof and sundeck which had views to die for. The breakfast was excellent the games room was fun and the staff took no hesitation to join in with playing games with my son. Room was lovely and staff amazing and great location for short walk into Ella to explore. But quite expensive is only negative”

Note that there is no elevator to the restaurant, and that it only serves breakfast and not lunch or dinner. There is also no A/C or fans in the restaurant so it can get hot when you eat. “Incredible place, accomodation is luxury, views are breathtaking, staff are lovely. If I went again I wouldnt take the half board option and order off the menu as the food and options were better and not particularly expensive. ”

“Property as difficult to reach by vehicle, particularly at night. Situated a long way from Ella with very limited dining options. Rooms are very basic with no amenities. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. ”
