We had an awesome stay. We did not realize how big this resort was. I would definitely stay at Kingsland again. It offers easy parking. And it is nice and quiet where we stayed. And we had access to any other part of the resort. So it allowed us to be away from the main building, where the beach and luau were located. Had an event across the street at Amy Greenwell, and my grandparents would always book here when we’d be on this side of the island. It’s older, but being able to walk right up to the restaurant is worth it, and in the morning it’s so peaceful to just sit out on the porch

Mango Sunset is situated on a hill in a lovely coffee plantation. It’s 15 or 20 minutes from town. The sunsets are amazing and breakfast in the morning with French pressed coffee is delicious! Heidi (host) makes her own sourdough! She and husband Dan are naturals at hospitality.

This isn't a hotel. It is closer to an AirBnb/High-End Hostel. Either way, it is awesome. We stayed in the guest house. The bed is amazingly comfortable and I slept great. The room was clean and had everything I expected. Ray runs the day to day ops and he is an awesome, welcoming guy. Our room had an incredible view of the rainforest and the ocean. Me and the wife enjoyed staying at this hotel and its proximity to the snorkeling beach. They had all kinds of boogey boards, paddle boards, snorkel and fins, beach towels, chairs and such for you to use at no extra fee. Washer and dryer on site. A vey nice place to BBQ if you like with all the seasonings and sauces provided for you to use. The room had cooking utensils and such to prepare meals. I would stay here again. The lady Gigi that runs the place was a pleasure to meet.

The night life of the forest is incredible. The place was relatively easy to find and Sylvia helped me every step of the way. I loved everything about my stay. So grateful for the warmth and hospitality. Can’t wait to come back. The animals, oh my heart. Frank and the chickens and the goats. Uni and I named the other two Eric and Suzie. Loved the profoundly peaceful location, could hike to and swim under beautiful waterfall on site. Only sounds were of nature. 4 miles from funky town of Hilo, which we also really liked. My 5 year old son and I spent a week at the Hilton Grand Vacation resort. For us it was a great decision. With a car, we were two minutes to the Hilton Wailkoloa resort, and had full use of their facilities with free parking. If you plan to park yourself at the Hilton Waikoloa all day,then I can see where that may be a better option for some than the Grand Vacation. I came here 12 years ago and visited again recently. It's a fantastic resort, and I will be back again. We like the ocean tower for the views and the adult pool for peace and quiet. Walking through the whole resort is very easy, does not take much time, and is very scenic. Facilities are clean and well cared for. We originally stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa village and were scheduled for 10nights. However upon arrival we were unimpressed and had a depressing feeling due to the run down nature of the hotel. Originally a Ritz Carlton hotel and you can tell by the quality fixtures and decor. Great dining and the sunset views are spectacular. I would definitely stay there again
