“We stayed one night here and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff are excellent and very attentive; they offer a refreshing welcome drink when you arrive. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package and both were of good quality. Specialty coffees and alcoholic beverages are not included and charged to the room, but the prices are reasonable. The location is convenient if you are on the road between Spitzkoppe and Etosha, and close to the points from which the desert elephant...

“Wunderschönes Abendessen mit Sonnenuntergang im Eagles Nest auf der Klippe. Schöne Umgebung mit Wanderungen und einem Wasserloch. Gutes Buffet und Bar. Zimmer mit grosser Terrasse und Sonnenuntergang.”

“Very neat and clean campsite. Nice bathroom and toiler right next to your campsite. Good location, close to Andersson Gate to Etosha Park.”

“Fantastic!! From start to end! And much thanks to Jimmy😊But we couldn't ask for more from anyone among the staff. The surroundings are out of this world...”

“The only criticism was flies on the food. ”

“This review is for Epacha Lodge and not Eagle Tented Lodge. They are on the same property, but i was upgraded to Epacha lodge. The property really has a lot of charm with colonial architecture. You can see wildlife while being at the restaurant, which serves delicious food. The rooms are spacious, with balcony and outdoor showers. You can go to Etosha Park with 1h drive; a guided safari in Etosha is a must-do activity. Massages are great too. The staff is really adorable.”

“Perfect spot close to the main park entrance. For the price this is the best in the area. Serves good food. Room is clean. Hot shower. WiFi isn’t great but other than that it’s a good place.”

“We stayed at the Tree House. It was fun, but it needs mosquito netting. We chased a mouse out 3 times. Ha! In October, the mosquitoes weren't too bad, but in other months it would be impossible to sleep. It is a great experience; it just needs a little more TLC. The lodge staff are wonderful, and we really enjoyed our time there. Thank you!!”

“Amazing location and lovely staff. Rooms a little dated but don’t let that put you off. We had a fabulous 3 nights at the property. Saw lions, elephant, giraffe, cheetahs, rhino and many more with our superb guide. Staff couldn’t have done more for us and were so friendly. Beautiful location and very respectful of animals in the park”

“Lovely place to stay. Really enjoyed having evening meal/BBQ with the family/owner, and the food was fabulous, and fantastic view from the balcony. Very helpful in advising what/where/when re Etosha Park. Only minor problem was finding the place, take the D2710 off the C38, pass 2 cattle grids (the 2nd is about 30km along the D2710), and then travel a further 8km to see their gate on the right-hand side, which has a big red sign - Push to Open, and then travel about 2km to reception. And a...

“What an amazing place tucked back in the hills. We were quite surprised upon our arrival. The room was excellent and the lodge is very comfortable. The lodge staff are wonderful. The challenge of luggage is significant. We're in good health, but I could see it very difficult for people with limited mobility. A porter would be a good addition. Maybe I missed it, but if dinner is not included in the price, the price of dinner should be easy to see on the daily menu. Dinner was wonderful and well...

“Stayes in beautiful family lodge with mini kitchen. Pool and terrace was a great place to sit out and enjoy views. Host and staff attentive but nit overbearing. Good location to get into Outjo and neighbouring tourist sites. ”
