"I had a wonderful stay! The breakfast spread was marvelous with so many delicious choices, and the warm swimming pool was a real highlight. A special thanks to the wonderful staff, who made me feel so comfortable and supported throughout my stay. My room was very clean, though it does need a quick maintenance check—water leaks from the sides of the bathtub during showers even with the curtain drawn."

"Lied about there being a shuttle from the airport. A knowingly BLATANT lie! "Oh that's only for companies." I picked it b/c it was the ONE hotel with this feature. Should have known better. ALSO lied about the checkout time on the internet; it said 3pm. But the desk attendant YELLED at me, TWICE when i checked out "late" according to him b/c "the checkout time is 12oclock." 1.) that's not what it said on the internet, 2.) Waldorf Astoria Kuwait

Waldorf Astoria Kuwait

8/10 Good
"The Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail is a stunning hotel with great facilities, but their front desk service and room management were incredibly disappointing. I specifically booked a King room, but when I arrived at 5:50 PM, I was told it was unavailable. Instead, they downgraded me to a handicap-accessible room, and it wasn't even ready until very late at night. To make it worse, the communication was nonexistent. I clearly told the front desk that my local Kuwaiti SIM was turned off and asked them to notify me via WhatsApp or text when the room was finally ready. They completely ignored this, called the deactivated number anyway, and never sent a message, leaving me waiting for hours. You expect a much higher standard of service and organization from a Waldorf Astoria."
