“Bit apprehensive beforehand reading reviews as the hotel is undergoing refurb but honestly our room was excellent as it was one newly refurbished.To be fair it was a bit of a trek getting to it but it is an older building and not much they can do about that as it is also only a couple of floors so extends out the back considerably. carpets in corridors bit dirty but builders clearly in and out, and they seem to have painted bits that maybe should have waited until refurb finished - also whoever...

“Myself and my beautiful girlfriend had a fantastic time. The upgraded room was more than we expected and made an already special trip feel even more special. We have some fond memories now and we are delighted with how friendly the staff were. Not a single bad word to say about this place and we will be back ”

“Nice hotel with spacious room on 4th floor. Restaurant was good for evening meal with salmon fillet. Camden Ale was nice although £7.20/pint. Good service and breakfast was nice. The bathroom has some mould on the silicone around the bath and a gap at the pivot of the shower screen which results in the floor becoming wet.”

“A great old fashioned hotel, direct access from the grond floor reception to the room with no nasty keycard required for lifts or floor access. The Britannis feels like a open easy access hotel. Recommend for ad-hoc meets ”
