“The smoke detector was beeping when we got to our room. We went to the front desk to ask them to change out the batteries and they said they didn't have any and we would have to move rooms. We had already settled in and had kids with us, so moving was not an option. We had to disconnect the smoke detector. The remote also needed batteries, but we didn't even bother to ask so we could not even relax and watch some TV. The bathroom sink did not drain and had black stuff that would come up out...

“Great value compared to comps in the area. Clean room with the hottest water we have ever experienced in a hotel. Comfortable bed with tiny soft pillows. Dont stay for the amenities but do stay for the value, and bring your own pillows!”

“Positives: Comfortable and clean accommodations. Conveniently located near Poverty Point. Opportunities for improvement: Pre payment with Expedia did not show in hotel's records. Reservation paperwork and clerk said breakfast was included. This was not the case. TV screen very tiny and volume locked at very low level. And would be helpful to only display those channels subscribed to.”

“I’ve stayed in cleaner places ”

“Arrived , temp. was 91 degrees. Lobby doors were open, No AC in the lobby, just fans running. I asked for a handicapped room & 1st floor, they didn't have any handicapped rooms. They tried to stick me on the 2nd floor, I told them I wanted the 1st floor. They put me on the first floor, showed me a map of the property, where to park, enter the building. She told me to enter through entrance 6 (halfway down the building) I saw entrance 5 was next to my room. I drove to entrance 5 got out, I ...
