“Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience.”

“Ett bra och fungerade litet hotel nära Udawalewe nationalpark. De fixade ihop hela vår jeep safari med en utmärkt chaufför med kort varsel. Fick en egen jeep som körde runt oss utan stress och under en hel eftermiddag i nationalparken till ett bra pris. Såg många elefanter, fåglar, krokodiler, apor, vattenbuffel, hjort, mm Trevlig personal som ville vårt bästa och som tom. fixade fram några öl genom att skick bud med Tuk-tuk. Suverän service. Enkla men fungerande rum. Bra pool som var härlig...

Prashan ist ein außergewöhnlich herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich mit voller Hingabe um seine Gäste kümmert. “Worst hotel I’ve been to in Sri Lanka and completely overpriced. The pictures must either be well PSed or are from two centuries ago as everything is old, run down and dirty now. We were the only guests on both the day of arrival and departure which was a bit weird and the staff was talking outside our door the entire night. The a/c is from the 18 hundreds and louder than a fighter jet (metaphorically speaking). I can highly not recommend this place!!!”
