Our say at this hotel was fantastic - great would be an understatement. The rooms are beautiful, welcoming, and perfect. The staff, well, they truly make the hotel even more of a fantastic place to stay. Extremely helpful, warm, friendly, and knowledgable, the staff really made our stay a memorable one. Good hotels have good rooms; great hotels have great staff. This is the only place to stay in Split, and even more so, in Croatia.

we stayed at the Marmont prior to joining a Butterfield and Robinson sailing/biking trip in the offshore island. Our whole group stayed there. Very modern, hip with an excellent restaurant for breakfast. We had drinks on the second level deck which is very pleasant. Only complaint is the rooms are very small. Bathrooms are very nice.

The hotel annex is quiet with comfortable beds, very helpful front desk, and a nice room. My suggestion would be to go to the main hotel for brunch breakfast since it has many more options than the smaller breakfast that is available at the annex. Was happy with the hotel and would stay there again.

This was a memorable stay, five star all the way—pleasant, friendly, professional reception; a superb complimentary bottle of wine; super clean and comfortable room with excellent amenities and TV options; convenient, quiet location; and the best breakfast I’ve ever had in many years of travel.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Marul. First off, you could not ask for a better location -- 5 minutes walk and you're right at the waterfront, where all the restaurants and nightlife are. It's also located in the center of the old city, within the palace walls. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the staff was excellent. Highly recommended.

Loved the cleanliness and location of the hotel. The staff was great, very attentive and helpful. Would stay here again.
