For my purposes, this location is perfect - quiet and relatively natural environment that is still roadside and able to get to a large number of hiking trails and towns all within 15 minutes. The front desk was warm and welcoming - the guy there is chill in a friendly way. ”

“We had an awesome stay at this quaint little motel that sends you back in time. The bed slept great and the room was clean. We had a huge window that looked out over the river. There is a nice covered pavilion with gliders and picnic tables, fire ring and grills right by the river for your enjoyment. Our last night there we were in the pavilion enjoying the weather and the nature sounds, when an elk walked out of the river and right past us. It was awesome. Would highly recommend. Staff is...

“The facility is convenient to major Cherokee activities. Clean room, common areas and breakfast dining. Very attentive and helpful staff. From this base we were able to visit Bryson Cilty, Maggie Valley and Oconuluftee Welcome Center. Will definitely stay again in future trips.”
