“We had an incredible experience at Uga Ulagalla: the property is immense and filled with animals and rice fields. The villas are scattered around the property with no vis-a-vis, they are very large and all have their own pool. The common pool near the main building is also amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is well worth the spend”

“Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!”

I can summarise by saying we were happy with everything and everyone there, and the location is a good base for visiting Anuradhupura. Nilketha has a very nice ambience with two large areas for relaxing. Rooms were very clean with air-conditioning and fans. The pool is very nice and refreshing after a long day and our three daughters felt comfortable in their bathers - unlike some places. Great sunset...
