“The hotel and staff were excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. Great walk-in shower. We opted to reserve a parking space and to order breakfast - both good decisions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful, and professional. The town of Azay-le-Rideau is charming with many small shops. We're looking forward to returning.”

“We thought it was so interesting to stay in a château. The grounds were nice and everything was so peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. I recommend taking advantage of the host dinner, thought we were not able to do it. It was a nice change from staying in hotels in the middle of the city. The hosts were very helpful with recommendations and I could tell they really were interested in our comfort. It really was a memorable experience.”

“We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. ”
