“A very nice lodging right at the heart of Penn Yan, a quaint town that is literally right beside the beautiful Keuka Lake. The only downside is its limited parking spaces and when this was brought up with the front desk staff who was on duty, she could not offer an option where to park in case guests arrive and there are no available spots within the property. No traveler would want to find out that their vehicle was towed or assessed a fine because of illegal parking.”

“We stayed for four nights, from Sunday to Wednesday, in mid-June. The room was comfortable and clean, but somewhat worn. The view of the lake from the patio off the room was beautiful. The perfect place to read, sip wine, and relax. Located next door to 2 vineyards with lots more nearby. Only 15 minutes to Watkins Glen and only 40 min. to Corning and the Glass Museum. We had a wonderful and restful mini vacation!!!”

“This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. If you want a clean, safe, convenient hotel, go here. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean, but dated. They service the room every day! And restock your coffee! “Wonderful experience at the Benjamin Hotel. Spacious, comfortable room with great amenities. It was conveniently located in downtown Watkins Glen and while there is no parking onsite, it was never an issue to find easy street parking nearby. Will definitely stay again!”
