We had a short, comfortable stay. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and firm, and the location was quiet. The Anchor Inn provided an inexpensive alternative to staying in the Watkins Glen area, and was only a couple minutes from downtown. We'd definitely stay here again.

Cute hotel right on Lake Seneca…staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel rooms are dated, walls are VERY thin, but it does look like they in the process of updating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location and great value.

Staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Winter construction on the property, equipment, etc makes further evaluation not representative of the facility. Very steep entrance and upper terraced driveway will be a problem for vehicles with low clearance.

Nice room. Comfortable bed. Short walk to the lake with our dog. Overall, a good stay except for another guest chain-smoking cigarettes on the deck outside our room. We, along with several other guests enjoying the view, got up and left. We had to keep our sliding door closed, it smelled so bad.

The staff is remarkable and the Tiki Bar had amazing burgers… it’s kind of outdated and the breakfast is coffee and tasty cakes… we stayed just one night so we could hike the falls and it was perfect for that! The view of the lake is pretty.

Staff friendly. People outside their room on shared balcony conversing “loudly” until I called office at 10:15 pm. They continued arguing in their room until I called at 11:15 pm. No sleep. In lobby it sat quiet hours were from 9pm-7am. That should be posted in balcony and in rooms.

Watkins Glen stay

Clean room and good view from room of the water. But felt mislead in that major construction was going on around the property. The marina and Tiki bar were not connected to the Inn at all. You had to cross a two lane road, down several flights of stairs and cross train tracks to get to the marina/ bar. Inn is located in a residential area so not in walking distance to downtown but a short drive.
