“I selected here because of close to Timberline Ski Resort during last ski season. In peak season it needs to book ahead of a month. Room was small, but super friendly staff and comfortable bed, clean room. Best one is good room rates if booking available in Canaan Valley. Recommend strongly!”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the room was very spacious and comfortable. It was super convenient being able to park right in front of the unit, and the bar was a few steps away. Food at the ISH kitchen was delicious. My only complaint was that the service was pretty slow. Even though I was sat at the bar, it took a while for anyone to acknowledge me and then to take my order. This has also happened in the past. I feel like they pay more attention to locals than to visitors.”

“I would highly recommend it”

“no air conditioning, no shower. no toilet paper, no cabinet near sink to place tolietries, bath is shared with 4 other rooms, no wifi or phone service on the 12 mile treacherous access road, not one light at house if you arrive after dark, no one to show you where to get room key or where room is located . If you want to experience WV try Hawks Nest Lodge in Anstead WV by the new river gorge national park...a MUCH better experience for a lot less money”

“This little cabin was the perfect getaway for me and my husband!! It is beautiful!!”

“Lovely place to relax and unwind! Will definitely book it again”
