I have had to stay with the hotel for a month during an elongated move. The front desk staff has been incredibly kind, until today. The rooms and hallways were horribly filthy upon arrival with many types of hair in the tub, smoke odors, sticky floor and TV/fridge/microwave stand etc. I fully cleaned the room myself and utilized my own linens during my stay. I did not utilize any amenities (the restaurant in the photos is not open). Today, June 29, there was an error between Expedia and the hotel. No big deal, I let them know in the morning, screen shot and e mailed the info (as directed by young man at desk) and made it clear to call me. Throughout the day I had to repeatedly contact between Expedia and the hotel (they charged me for a day I already paid for through Expedia as there was an Expedia double book error). I still didn’t worry as I paid for the insurance etc. 12 hours later I returned to speak with, Brett, who helped me throughout the day and I even joked with him. Allen (who was part of an Expedia chat) came across the desk and began to respond FOR Brett. Brett froze. I held up my hand and asked Allen to not interrupt…. TWICE!! He first stated, “Why? I’m not being disrespectful.” Interrupting a conversation that’s not yours even AFTER being asked to cease IS socially AND professionally disrespectful. The third time I stated to Alan that I was speaking to Brett. The very young man said, “Rhats now how it works.” 😳 YEP! That’s exactly how it works. 15 y guest gone
