While the rooms were clean, the structure shows signs of water leakage in the walls. It needs some major renovation. The ad on Expedia says registration is open till 11pm. I sent a mail thru Expedia twice indicating I was a late arrival, after 9:30pm. When we arrived door was locked! Bar was open and bartender found our keys and immediately shut down the bar. If we had arrived 10 minutes later we would not have had a place to sleep as it’s the only motel within 30 miles.

Comfy and clean, older property but did the job. Had a little restaurants which sounded great but closed at 2PM so I never go to try it. Food was served at the bar though! They also l had a Dairy Queen on one side and a Dollar Tree on the other, which was great! I would stay again. 👍

Convenience of a restaurant/Cafe on premises. Game cleaning facility needs an overhaul. No running water and very small area to work if there were more than one person cleaning fish or cleaning Game.

Satisfactory in Small Town America

Everything was fine until the morning of check out. Checkout is 11 am and “housekeeping” tried to come bursting into the room without knocking as I was standing there half undressed. I hollered at them saying we were still in the room and not more than 10 minutes later someone tried doing it again. Small town but really? I’ve been a housekeeper at a motel before and you always knocked and assumed someone was in there! The small cafe was good and had pretty darned good food and the bar area was nice as well. Many locals hang out at the bar but that’s what made it fun/interesting.

Very pleasant place to spend the night, with restaurant and bar right there. I’d say it’s a bit dated, beds definitely need an upgrade but all in all with the friendly environment and as hot meal being served till around 9 pm I’d for sure stay again
