The bed was ok, lugging my backpack up a flight of stairs at 11pm was not fun. Breakfast had no beverages over than coffee, I’m pretty sure the yogurt was bad and there was no one on duty to tell.

The refigerator did not work there was no cold or hot water it was just lukewarm so had to go to breakfast area to get cold water to drink the shower was almost cold just a lukwarm shower.

It was run down smelt bad , room stinks water damage everywhere, pieces of plain drywall put on holes in walls . Bathroom was gross the water smelled like fish tank. I’d rather of slept in my suv

The place needs some TLC. Also very minimalist. 2 towels in a 2queen bed room. I was thankful for 3 pillows on each bed. Fridge was turned off. Room did not cool down well. Everything was clean but outdated.

It was handy that we could walk across the street to get something to eat. I think there was some issue with the electricity as the microwave did not work and the A/C unit quit working too. Don't think the young lady at the desk understood what I was telling her.

This Super 8 was horrible. We took one look at the room turned around after informing the front desk and we left. the carpet wasn’t vacuumed, the sheets did not look clean. There were holes patched but not painted over. I’m truly disappointed and unhappy that I lost$102.00 to this and then had to find another place to stay.

DISAPPOINTED

When I was heading out to breakfast I decided to do my daily duty. Upon completing the task I discovered I was without any toilet tissue. There wasn’t even a paper holder. No paper products at all anywhere in the motel room. I had to undress and take a shower and move on. I spoke to the manager. Showed him the bath area and he said he would talk to house keeping.

Latch on room door did not fit properly and sometimes the door would not catch. Even in the latched position, the catch mechanism was sloppy with way too much play. There was something sticky left all over the floor near the toilet, as well as all over the toilet tank, both sides of the toilet seat itself, and the rim of the toilet. I had to clean all of that myself after checking in to make it sanitary to use.

Wyndham needs to invest in some infrastructural upgrades. The shower knob for the temperature control immediately fell off. The coffee machine doesn't work. The microwave oven makes a strange hum during the night. Had to be unplugged. The air conditioner did nothing but roar and delivered no cool air. Fortunately the window opens to a cool Wyoming night air. Requested a wake-up call for 6:30 AM and never got one including a knock on the door that the guy behind the desk promised. Woke up late after a long drive.

Disappointing stay in Kemmerer

I should have paid more attention to the reviews. We had to rouse the attendant to check us in, then never saw him ( or any other staff) again. The room had been only partially cleaned and prepped. The coffee sachet from the previous occupant was still in the coffee maker, and supplies had not been restocked. As noted above, no one was at the desk to ask for more coffee or cups. As advertised,there was supposed to be a “grab and go” breakfast. At check in, we were told this would be a granola bar and coffee beginning at 6 am. We checked out about 7, with no signs of coffee , granola bars or anything else. The sink was cracked and so rusty, rust filled the basin when the water was turned on. The toilet filled with hot water(!). While disconcerting, this is wasting energy. On the plus side, it is just across the road from Pizza Hut and Arctic Circle, so fast food is close. Most places in Kemmerer were closed on Sunday, so those two were about the only options. It was quiet and the bed was decent. A little maintenance, and updating would help a lot, and staff that were available should be a given.
