โWe Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site

โWe stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester.
The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries.

โThe best kept secret in Chester. You step outside the gate and youโre straight onto the side of river. Such a peaceful place to stay, yet within a 5 minute walk of the park, town wall and the town centre.โ
โThis was the perfect location for us to stay to be able to visit Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo and Chester, just 10mins drive from each. I avoided hotels in Chester due to lack of easy parking options but this one was great. Really nice rooms, clean and modern with lots of amenities. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and continental choices. We loved the warm cookie at check in too - a nice touch! Staff were all very nice and friendly.โ
โLocation is perfect and a nice walk into the main shopping area.
Lots of local restaurants and bars and very close the the race course if you are visiting for the races.
Hotel its self is very good and the gym is perfect for what I needed it for on the move. โ
