"Everyone was extremely friendly and always there to help. It is in a very safe and walkable neighborhood- I traveled alone and felt safe the whole time. Loved the rooftop pool and the availability of drinks. The only thing I would complain about is that the iron didn’t work and the AC fan is loud but nothing that would stop me from coming back !!!"

"Trip advisor - marquis Reforma I want to preface my review for the Marquis Reforma by noting that I’ve been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years with the last 15 being in hotels. I’ve opened 400+ room resorts with 10+ outlets. At the end of the day, I have an intimate knowledge of what we’re talking about. From the moment the doormen opened our car door our experience at the Marquis Reforma was outstanding. The first person we met was Benjamin who helped us with our bags. If I had a dozen Benjamin’s on my team I could take over a market! His attitude was a refreshing welcome after a day of traveling. The first thing you notice whether you know or not when you walk into a hotel is the smell and temperature, but the first thing you remember is how the staff interaction affects you. Benjamin seemed thrilled to met us, wanted to get us something to drink while we got checked in, and enthusiastically showed us to our room. Throughout our 6 night stay he continued to check in on us and when he found out we were going to Lucha Libre he imparted his love for wrestling and it became a nice touch point for our conversations. The location of the hotel is a great starting point for so many destinations throughout the city. 1 direction you’re a 10-12 minute walk to the museum of modern art, another direction is the Angel of Independence. If you’re heading to the shops in Polonco or the restaurants in Roma Norte you’re a super cheap Uber ($4-$5) to either areas."

"Do NOT book this property. I checked into what was advertised as a "Premium Apartment" and was met with pubic hair scattered across the shower, dirty towels covered in someone else's hair, absolutely zero hot water — not lukewarm, ice cold — and completely broken WiFi despite being a core advertised amenity. The room was so filthy and unsanitary it was genuinely uninhabitable. When I reported these deplorable conditions to the staff, the response was shockingly cold and indifferent — no room change, no urgency, no empathy whatsoever. They simply could not care less. I was forced to abandon the property entirely. This place is a health hazard. Future travelers: save your money and your sanity."

"This is a great, centrally located hotel. You can walk to MOMA, Tamayo, Antropología, as well as Roma/Condesa neighborhoods etc (1+miles). Staff is very warm and helpful. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean (more important for me!). A/C is great! Gym is huge (2 rooms) and has everything you need. Housekeeping staff is great and attentive. Nice bar/lounge with piano player. Concierge can help you plan your day and even arrange for a private car and driver to the airport for early morning flights."

"An architectural gem form the 60’s that unfortunately has suffered years of bad restoration and repairs. The lobby feels more like a subway station. The beautiful knoll furniture that they had in bars and rooms has disappeared and replaced by cheap copies. A total shame but the building is still amazing!"
