“We had a one night stay at the Inn and it was great. The house goes back to 1884 and the host has done an amazing job to bring the history back for us to enjoy. The continental was very good and well organized. It has only 7 rooms so if you are looking at a place to stay in Dildo, The Inn by the Sea is your place”

“The George B & B is a beautiful historical house in Dildo, newfoundland. Todd, the owner, is very pleasant, helpful, and a wonderful cook!. His homemade baked goods for breakfast were delicious! We so enjoyed sitting on the front porch to watch the sunset on the bay. We would highly recommend the George House. Truly 1 of the nicest B & B we have ever stayed at. We spend 2 nights there. What a charming place”

“I didnt like that you had to use email to speak to someone on desk , it was rare to find someone on front desk , the carpet in the rm we had was stained in multiple places , the spa tub didnt work there were no electronic buttons on it they were cut out of the tub with just a hole left there ...when I turned on the taps to fill it the taps leaked and I had to clean up water off the floor , couldnt call front desk because there wasnt anybody there to call but there wasnt a phone in the rm to do...

“Stopped here on the way to the airport. Very clean and amenities well cared for. Comfy bed and friendly staff at the courthouse for check-in. Town itself leaves a wee bit to be desired, suggest driving up Water St rather than the main road into town for a more pleasant view.”
