"I was there for a work trip a little disappointed that the breakfast didn’t start till 7 AM. Other hotels I’ve stayed at in the past provided a bag to go if you couldn’t make the breakfast."
"We stayed here for one night for a graduation at UVA. The hotel is not too far a drive from campus, so it is a convenient location. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the AC worked great, so you could adjust the room temperature however you desired. The bathrooms were clean and had hygiene products you could use if you forgot to bring them.
They have a small gym next to the pool that we did not use. We enjoyed being in the indoor pool for a bit; they have towels there that you can use. We were excited to use the hot tub, so we were bummed that it was not open. It seemed it was being cleaned out or something.
The free breakfast was great, with delicious make-your-own waffles, fruits, and coffee. They had a wide variety of food items. Overall, our stay was pretty comfortable and excellent. The only downside was the unexpectedly non-functioning hot tub. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!"
"The location of the hotel is great! You can walk and see alot of what Charlottesville has to offer. Hotel is a bit dated and the beds in our room were extremely hard so not great for sleep."
"Rich in history, excellent wine tasting experience at adjoining Pippin Hill Farms and Winery. We enjoyed feeding the chickens! The concierge folks were so helpful and nice. Beakfast every morning was delicious!"
