“La demeure est magnifique et nous transporte délicieusement dans un autre siècle. Le superbe, et très grand jardin est une surprise additionnelle, ainsi que la terrasse attenante où se prennent les petits déjeuners. L’hote Jose un descendant de la famille, qui possède le vignoble et la propriété parle couramment français et est d’une grande courtoisie. Enfin, ce qui ne gâte rien, le vinho Verde primé de la propriété est délicieux et très abordable.”

“This was just the best place to stay in Pinhao. The staff were so friendly and ready to help and provide tips and recommendations. Loved the room - very clean and comfortable. The entire Quinta couldn't be more relaxing and peaceful. The restaurant had stunning views and dinner was to die for. I plan on staying at Quinta de la Rosa again.”

“The property is located in the beautiful valley on top of the mountain. The drive up to the check in was a small , narrow , cobblestone driveway. Once arrived we quickly checked in and were escorted to show us where to park the car and where the breakfast location was. Luckily we were located on the 5 th floor terrace so we only had to take the suitcases down to terrace 5 from terrace 7 where we parked. “The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! ”
