The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Sanjo

8/10 Good

"Lovely room But cleaning of room was minimal and bed poorly remade Don’t expect to have to clear up my own breakfast food and plates like in McDonalds!"

Oakwood Hotel Oike Kyoto

8/10 Good

"Location and suite were perfect. Exactly what we were hoping for. This trip was for my birthday and I mentioned that in the check in confirmation but when I got to the hotel there wasn’t any acknowledgement so it was a bit of a let down. But overall the hotel is great and we would stay again."

The Millennials Kyoto

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were outstanding could not have been nicer or more helpful. They went out of their way to help me. The room was really cosy and comfortable. The amenities were outstanding. Happy hour with free beer was a very welcome treat. Common areas were very welcoming and cosy with lots of designated areas for people wanting to work, chat or just chill. It was the best of all the hotels I stayed in during my Japan trip."

Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo

8/10 Good

"This hotel was mainly for the location, and the location is awesome for shopping. The room and hotel itself were okay. The rooms are a little outdated, and the beds had a few minor stains on the blankets, nothing that was terrible (all of our group had some kind of stain on the blankets in every room) but definitely made an impact on our visit to the hotel. The premium lounge is awesome, but located directly next to a smoking area, and was often just filled with smoke, which made it so we never went. Again the location is 100% worth it, and if you just want to use it as we did as a place to sleep while shopping in Kyoto, then its awesome."
