"I booked the room on Expedia and the hotel would not honor the price on the website they charged me a 25% increase on the room. The room was on the second floor but not elevator we had to take the stairs and the hallway was so hot and stuffy when we got to the room it didn’t look like they cleaned it in awhile there was hair on the bathroom floor not to mention dust everywhere."

"After a long drive and arriving at the Orel at 1am we were greeted with a less than friendly front desk staff. The hotel STINKS of smoke, every hallway just reeks and even the rooms. We got into the room and it was 87 degrees which took the AC forever to cool down. Whilst unloading we checked the room to find blood on the sheets, feces and food stuck to the walls, sticky residue on the tables and food littered all over the floor. I should the staff picture and asked that it be cleaned I was told it would be done by the time we returned to the room. We got back nearly 10 hours later and the room still wasn’t clean even though staff had been in and changed the towels. The manager was rude and very disrespectful not once did we get an apology.. We decided to check out and a refund was denied. I will be contacting cooperate regarding this hotel and its staff. Avoid this place like the plaque you want a cheap nasty room go for it.. You want to sleep and feel safe avoid avoid avoid!!!"

"Very nice basic motel with super kind and helpful staff. The staff even drove my traveling companion to the local hospital (he had a fall earlier in the day, not at the hotel!). AC was good and not right by the beds, which helped us sleep. Comfy beds, basic but clean room and bathroom. Breakfast basic but all we needed. Felt very safe and friendly. Excellent value overall. BTW, the town of Lindsborg is cute, has good coffee & lunch places and an interesting Swedish history."
