Stayed for husbands 60th birthday. We had a 2 bed suite which was amazing. We’ve stayed before and really enjoyed it but this time something was missing. The club lounge was very nice but the newer staff didn’t seem to be as on the ball as the older staff. I’d asked for the birthday package to be in the suite and paid £150, this comprised of balloons, cake and non alcoholic wine. Wish I hadn’t bothered as the balloons where mainly deflated when we arrived and not very inspiring, wish the cake had been much smaller as there where only 3 of us and more than 3/4 went in the bin. The clearness of the suite where amazing

Handily located hotel with great service.

Handily located to both DXB and Dubai Mall, what makes this a great hotel to stay at is the service from the staff. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Our stay included breakfast and gluten free options were available.

We had wonderful stay in Sofitel obelisk. Hotel has beautiful ambience and all the staff are so helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean with great views. Special thank you to the housekeeping team especially Tanaji, Kumari and Nurudeen. They made our stay even more special. Will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Great hotel for a short stopover.

Lovely hotel handily located to Dubai airport. We stayed 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived 6am yet they still allowed us access to our room after a very short wait. Offer a free shuttle service to/from Dubai Mall. Reasonable in-house dining available and attached to Wafi Mall with some further dining options. There’s also a supermarket there. My only criticism would be I’m gluten free and breakfast options were quite limited in that respect for me personally (eg no GF cereal, only frozen GF bread, no yoghurt). Also the hairdryer in our room didn’t work however we’d brought our own so not a biggie.

Sofitel The Obelisk is an absolutely stunning hotel, both in its design and attention to detail. Everything is impeccably taken care of, leaving no room for any shortcomings. The level of service is beyond exceptional, it’s like they can read your mind. You don’t even need to think about what you might need; they are already a step ahead. The luxury here is truly unmatched. The rooms are equally remarkable beautifully designed and very comfortable. We had an amazing time during our stay with the team and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Charles, Edward, and the rest of the staff for providing an unforgettable experience. They truly made the hotel feel like a home away from home. We felt incredibly welcome and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and luxurious experience!
