Lovely hotel but go in season if you want AC.

Hotel is a bit out of the way but that suited us. Lovely hotel and friendly staff but not much English spoken. Main issue was the Air Conditioning, or lack of it. They do have in all the rooms but when i asked how to work it they said it is not turned on yet as is not the season! Our room was really hot. We opening the balcony door but as it is on a very busy road the noise was too loud. Such a shame.

I gave this 1 star because of its location. If you are planning on using this to visit Lake Como, you are making a MISTAKE!!! If you are using it as a hotel to spend the night on way elsewhere, then it's 5 stars. I read somewhere that it was 30 mins to Como. I didn't know that Como is different than Lake Como, which is where I planned on visiting for 2 days. It's 90 MINS from Lake Como, and the roads are tough. You travel approx 30 mins in confined, dark tunnels that traverse under mountains. Once you get through that it's an hour of local roads with over 25 roundabouts that aren't easy to navigate through. Combine this with Italian drivers who drive up to your bumper and motorcycles passing you on the left and bicycles on the right, it was white knuckle driving. It was HORRIBLE. The hotel itself is great. It's new, neat, the staff is great and the food is good. The only issue I had was that they blasted techno music in the dining room area for breakfast lunch and dinner. I'm not a fan of techno, but it was especially annoying in the morning. There is only one other restaurant in the area and it's difficult to get a taxi. The views are wonderful. When we were walking up the street to find another place because the other one booked a party, I asked a worker if there was any other places besides our hotel, he laughed and said, "No, this place is a hole.' He meant there was nothing around anywhere; he was right. The hotel is wonderful but don't use it to frequent Lake Como.

This little gem is in the the heart of the mountains on the east end of lake COMO. The hotel is quite new, has a great cafe, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance…The scenery is truly amazing!

Highly Recommend

My son and I spent just one night here but were welcomed and treated like family. We were personally escorted to our room where the amenities were explained in detail. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. The manager gave us a recommendation for dinner and even walked us to the beginning of the path to get there. Breakfast and the service were both excellent. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Nice and clean little hotel beside main road. Easy access. We had junior suite, which was large enough for 3persons. Twin bed was excellent and extra bed large enough for an adult. Aircon was a bit noisy but was working well. Breakfast was ok and kitchen prepared omelette on request. Excellent coffe and cakes. Reception is not open 24h.

Da muss ich nicht nochmal gewesen sein…

Liest man die Beschreibung des Hotels, geht man davon aus dass es in den Bergen liegt. In Wirklichkeit liegt das Hotel an einer viel befahrenen Durchgangsstraße und die Berge sind weit entfernt zu sehen. Öffentliche Parkplätze, kostenpflichtig. Wir haben ein DZ mit Balkon und Bergblick??? gebucht. Das hatten wir auch zuerst bekommen, Balkon welcher aber von 2 Zimmern genutzt wird und im 1.OG sieht man lediglich auf das nächste Haus. Unser WC war gar nicht gereinigt und der Duschkopf mit so einer dicken Schicht voller Kalk, dass kaum noch Wasser raus kam. Auf die Bitte hin, ein sauberes Zimmer zu bekommen wurde uns ein DZ ohne Balkon gegeben. War zwar sauber, aber der Kühlschrank im Zimmer hat nicht gekühlt sondern sich über Nacht aufgeheizt, so dass wir unseren ganzen Käse etc. welchen wir am Tag zuvor auf einer Alpe gekauft haben wegwerfen konnten. Frühstück unter dem Standard. Kaffee gibt es auf Bestellung und wenn die erste Tasse leer ist muss man Glück haben dass noch jemand vorbei kommt und eine zweite Tasse bringt. Personal freundlich, teilweise sprechen sie deutsch, andere wiederum weder deutsch noch englisch. Alles in allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstrasse. Der Verkehrslärm war leicht zu hören, aber nicht weiter schlimm. Zimmer war sauber. Es gab eine kleine Auswahl an Frühstück, aber für jeden etwas dabei. Parkplatz kostenlos verfügbar.

Das Hotel liegt zwar an der Durchgangsstrasse und war deshalb auf den ersten Blick nicht ganz perfekt. Dann wurden wir jedoch super freundlich empfangen und wir fühlten uns gut angekommen. Überragend war das Frühstücksbuffet, sogar mit leckeren Kuchen und die Terrasse im Hinterhof, auf der wir bis spät in die Nacht sitzen konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
