“Great staff, location, and breakfast. However, it’s a bit loud at night due to thin walls and ideal acoustics in the rooms. Some inconsiderate guests let their room doors go without carefully closing them, resulting in quite a loud boom. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to consider a spring controlled door.”

“This is not a hotel, more like a holiday camp without the red coats. Tired paintwork and unkept grounds. Fire alarm went off at 7.30 am !! Couldn't get tea or coffee after 8.45pm as facilities closed at 9pm. Not a good experience.”

“On first arriving was a bit disappointed with initial outlook but this was a wee surprise. Staff on checking in were very nice gave us directions to free parking at back of the hotel. Room was very clean and tidy bathroom was clean but for safety could do with a handle to get in and out of the shower maybe a nonslip mat in the bath and a bath mat to step out. The bar was well stocked and fairly reasonable priced, entertainment on Saturday was great amazing singer. Food at breakfast was good but...

“Good food. Helpful front desk. Good location to sites and restaurants. Better room ventilation needed with summer temps as room had 1 small window that opened with a 3-4 inch gap. Hotel did provide a small portable fan to use in the room.”
