"We were looking for a castle stay in Britain as kind of a "bucket list" item. The Melville isn't exactly a "castle," more of a retired/repurposed palace, but the overall experience was what we were looking for - suits of armor, antique paintings and so on. The restaurant is awesome! Great dishes and service! Staff was very helpful. Rooms mixed ancient decor with modern amenties like ample power outlets, modern bathroom, etc. Grounds have many paths for nature walks. Was a nice experience!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The level of service throughout our stay was truly excellent – nothing was too much trouble, and every request was handled promptly and professionally.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was inviting and well-maintained, which added to the experience.
Special thanks to Syed and Rakesh who were very helpful to make our stay more comfortable. Syed went a extra mile and moved us to club room which made our stay even more extra special. Thanks to Syed.
They have restaurant with indian menu and food is obsolutely delicious. Also the fries from restaurant are great.
This hotel has pool and jacuzzi which is an added benefit if we are staying with kids. My daughter loved it and enjoyed while we stayed at hotel.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable, enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"The rooms were small but adequate. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the choice at breakfast was good. There was a small amount of parking space at the front of the hotel. It stands at walking distance from the railway station but noise is NOT intrusive.
There were a lot of stairs to the top floor of the hotel. There was a poor flow of water in the shower and the water took a long time to get hot, perhaps because of being on the top floor.
In general terms, it offered good value for money.
