“The Good: Great location! Really amazing view. Very roomy. Very pretty. Pub at the bottoms of the steps is superb. The Bad: Don’t book in the summer. It heats up 10+ degrees hotter than outside and takes hours to cool down at night. We came in August and it was sunny and 25 def outside which translates to 35 deg inside according to our portable thermostat. Kitchen is really poorly stocked. “We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great - ideal base for walking up the east coast of Scotland, beach a short walk away, lovely towns to visit and good shopping nearby. The property had everything we needed - we had to buy a sharp knife, but other than that no problem. We found the wifi to be unreliable, sadly, so struggled to do more than a quick web browse.”
