“From check in to check out the quality of service, accommodation and food was excellent. ”

“Friendly efficient local staff. Excellent breakfast and restaurant food especially the daily specials. Housekeeping excellent. Rooms functional but a bit dated.Parking directly outside courtyard rooms is a bonus for any disabled visitors and access to the main entrance is easy. The city of Durham ,Beamish Museum and The Auckland Project are all within less than half an hour’s drive. Although just off a busy road the courtyard rooms are quiet with a rural view at the rear . I would use this hotel...
