“If you are looking for 4 or 5* ratings then the Waterford Arms isn't for you. If you want honest, no frills accommodation with wonderful staff and great food then you're onto a winner. “Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....

“We were a couple, staying over for 1 night after a day at Hexham races. The check in was great, very easy and straight forward.
