"I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at the Colonial! The motel room was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The outside of the motel was well-lit, so I felt safe coming and going at night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I've been coming to Perth every August for 30 years, but this is my first time staying at one of the motels in town. "My husband and I had a wonderful couple of days at Hotel Kenney. This vintage hotel is rustic but unique and the setting right at Jones Falls Lock is spectacular! Lots of interesting sites in the area to explore, especially for history buffs. If dining at the hotel, expect a leisurely experience but know that the meal is well worth the wait! Sunday brunch was amazing, so many choices! We stayed in Hilltop cabin. The queen bed was very comfortable. Just a heads up: the shower stall is quite small. Jeff went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to ensure that our stay was enjoyable! "
