"Ice cube tray was filthy...like it had been outside. Coffee in room was disgusting...because maker was filthy. No coffee at the breakfast. "Hot water only, apologies".
I would have been better off car camping"
"The resort manager was extremely personable, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the area. Their recommendations and local insight helped make our stay more enjoyable.
The room itself was a bit dated, and the grounds could definitely use some much-needed maintenance and upkeep. However, the peaceful, tranquil views were a highlight of the property and made for a relaxing atmosphere.
The location is hard to beat, with convenient access to the nearby parks, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. While the property could benefit from some updates, the scenery, location, and friendly management helped make our stay worthwhile."
"My room was not available upon arrival. I was accommodating at another hotel but was not happy about it due to location. I picked The River Inn to be close to Sequoia National Park entrance. I was told the new location was close by, it was not. "
"It was the best room out of the that were planned on our road trip! If you stay, you have to go next door to the restaurant. The staff is amazing! The crab cakes and baby back pork ribs were delicious!"
"Best of both worlds. Camping with a comfy bed, private bathroom and white linens. The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the maintenance guy, and the housekeeping staff were so helpful and friendly. I am already planning my next trip."
"Beautiful, clean, peaceful stay in a great location for visiting Sequoia National Park. Loved hanging out at the house with its river view and cute private beach area. "
