"The mountain view pool is fantastic. The rooms were clean, had microwave and fridge which we needed. Good selection of frozen and other foods in the lobby if you need it, and a fantastic buffet breakfast. In short, everything we needed at a good price and location. One thing to know is that the room doors are facing outside, motel style. The door jamb of our outside door was cracked, and the door a little dented, as if it had been kicked in at one time. It doesn't give you a warm fuzzy, which is why I dinged the maintenance rating - they really should fix that so no one sees it! It was very heartening (or not) that the lobby staff said they are present 24/7, because the hotel is tucked in the mountains presumably not to close to help if needed but I don't know."

"We absolutely love this place! We will definitely be coming back on our next vacation out West. Our host Heather was so kind and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. We can’t say enough about how beautiful, peaceful and quiet this place is. Watching the wildlife and taking in the scenery was unforgettable experience. The reviews we read beforehand were completely accurate. Everything was exactly as described Our cabin looked just like the photos on the website, it was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a very cozy unique feel. The bed was comfortable and the cabin had all the comfort of home. We honestly didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Sequoia Resort, for your wonderful hospitality and warm, friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to return."

"absolutely one of the highlights of our trip... a nature loving, off grid, quiet and zen, yet boujie experience! host/owner Kenneth was amazing and shared how this vision came to be.. super nice guy.. we stayed in Limitless mirrored cabin, and it was wonderful... the river below soothed our spirits... and the interior made you feel one with the outdoors..Excellent"

"We booked this property after a horrible experience at another place and we absolutely loved it. It was beautiful and so picturesque, clean, stunning, and just wonderful. The host was very kind and friendly, & the restaurant had the most delicious food. We were very pleased with it. The only downside is that the road up there is very long and windy and lots of pot holes. Some areas are paved and others are not. It took us 1.5 hours to get there from Hwy 198. We were very nervous driving on it, but once we got to Silver City, everything was fantastic and some of the most pristine and beautiful scenery I've ever seen, especiallyif you go the end of the road past Silver City to the valley. It looks like Switzerland!"
