“$500 hold explained at check-in—$19,000 USD showing as pending
At the front desk, I was told there would only be a $500 hold on my debit card. Instead, my bank account shows a pending transaction for $19,000 USD.
To be clear, the transaction is still pending, not a finalized charge. However, the difference between what I was told and what appears on my account is extremely concerning, especially because I used a debit card.
I expect management to explain this discrepancy and promptly correct...
