"Unfortunately this time of the year the majority of the pools were closed. The one pool was only open 9-5, and the pool bars were all closed. However, the pool area was beautiful. We were more interested in hanging out at the pool versus gambling. "

"Clean room. Very basic. Only has queen beds, no kings. Water doesn't get very Hot, just lukewarm for showers. Only one night stand, makes it difficult for couples. Staff is very nice. It's got an exercise room & paid laundry room. It's newer, so in good repair, in a safe area of East County. We basically just needed a place to lay our heads & sleep, so for the money & peace of mind, this worked for us. "

"The room smelled like it's been a long time since it was used and cleaned. The bed was way too soft and the comforter had cigarette burns on it. The hand towel fixture was coming out the wall, fan in bathroom didn't work and the floor was dusty and not as per a usual Motel 6 I've used in the past. Parking was good, staff was polite but seemed in a hurry to do other things."

"The exterior of the property looks like it's being remodeled, but I think they just hung a bunch of tape around to make it look that way. There is so much wrong way with the exterior. The location is bad. It is practically on the off-ramp of the freeway. Not kidding! My room did not appear to be clean at first, but I noticed a lot of the spots were really just chips in the enamel and the counter, and burn marks. But it was clean. Unfortunately, one of the beds was unacceptable. It was like laying in a bowl. We asked maintenance if they could put a board or something to firm up the mattress, but they didn't have anything. Tried to move us to a different room, but upon opening the door, bugs scattered. So we had no choice but to stay in the first room because they were otherwise sold out. Reception and site said they would give us a discount, but when I called back, I left my number, and the manager has not called me back."

"Avoid at all costs. Filthy property, filthy check-in area, absolutely filthy room. Mold and grime on the walls, ceiling panels falling out and cracked walls/tiles, floor laminate peeling and bubbling up all over, water damage all over. The AC unit's cord did not reach the socket, and when I used my own power cord it didn't work anyway. There was a half smoked cigarette between the mattress and box spring that already had unchanged sheets on them, in a non-smoking room. All of the furniture was in bad shape, only spotted one cockroach in my room and luckily no bed bugs but I witnessed enough other angry patrons storming back to their cells loaded with poison. There is a sign at the desk specifically absolving the staff of responsibility for lost valuables due to forced break ins, a car was left on rocks in the lot during my stay and I'm pretty sure I witnessed an almost violent domestic dispute. Staff was distant and clearly didn't care about anything, and I don't know what the housekeeping lady was doing... clearly not housekeeping, if my room was anything to go off of. Awful, trashy "hotel." I have never felt more unsafe and motivated to get out of somewhere in my life so far. "
