"Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. After a 5 hour drive from Newcastle the pub staff gave a friendly welcome. We were so glad that we hadn’t stopped to eat. Turns out this is a Gastro pub without the Gastro prices. Incredible food and array of beers. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was also amazing. Fantastic staff, little gem of a village pub. "
