It was immaculate, big comfy bed
Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean.
Alexa in kitchen to enjoy music if required.
Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room.
Really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again and recommend as well to family and friends.โ
โFirst time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. โ
โStayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. โ
โNice comfortable hotel with pleasant staff , gorgeous view ,close to town center, seafront position has easy access to the beach and harbour with many pubs and restaurants and activities along the seafront.โ
โOne of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Itโs a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I havenโt mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didnโt use them this time! I canโt remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to...
โExcellent all round. Such a lovely helpful, warm welcome on arrival and every morning at breakfast, which was delicious.
Room was lovely, spacious enough for two and really quiet. 2 min walk to beachfront, 5 min walk to town.
Will definitely be going back.โ
โMy only comment would be the lack of air conditioning in the rooms.
In the unusual heat we have been having.
The heat hit you when entering the room as opposed to the other way round.
Apart from that I would put the Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa in the best top 3 Hotels I've stayed at in this country.
I would rate it's location food and standard of accommodation and facilities as excellent.

โLovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. Youโre really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. โMatina apts are in a great location right next to the beach. The pool area are great. Food at the pool bar is great value and nicely presented. All staff are friendly and helpful. Staff also remember you as people come year after year to these apts. You feel comfortable and safe. โ
