“We stayed just one night at the Carriage Inn, but Yvonne and Jonathan made us feel so welcome it felt like much longer. The inn is charming, our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. A perfect quick getaway - we’ll be back!”
“The beauty of the property to begin with. Old world charm but modernized without detracting from the original character. The grand mailbox, each floor having a mailbox which directly connects with and is fed by gravity to the “grand” collection box on the ground floor! Beautiful! The basement pool is a spectacle to behold! The beauty along with the perfect water temperature provided a perfect ending to our evening!”
“Everybody there was so kind the only two bad thing was dust on curtain rail and previous guys body hair in the bath room. But those are nothing my wife and I love this place so much and I am pretty sure we will stay again ”
“The room was very well laid out. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare but tasty. The serving staff were very efficient.
We were pleasanty surprised with our first visit hetr. It is an ideal layover point when travelling onward to Shenandoah National Park”
“The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. They supplied enough towels. The breakfast bar had variety. It was quiet for us, but we had a 2 year old that is very boisterous and likes to dance so I don't know if that bothered anyone around us or below us.”
“Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Staid in the Green Building and was super clean. Ordered room service for breakfast and was very good. Only advise this time of year check the Stores and Restaurants in town for days they are open. Most are closed certain days. Suggest eating in the Country Inn Restaurant.”
